I've opted to use Live Books for my online portfolio. Although I'm a photographer and we offer graphic design I pretty sure illustrators are using the site as well. It seems awfully counter productive, especially considering the money you're spending to have a place on there ($750 is a month's rent and probably 2.5 weeks' worth of groceries for me!). Unfortunately I can't offer any advice on paid portfolio sites since I don't belong to any, but should I take the plunge someday, I promise I'll contact you with the results. :) It’s too bad to hear about the I Spot’s navigation.
