A quick ink piece I did for my mom to give to her boyfriend for his birthday. It’s one of our dogs, Rocky, to go with a piece I did a few years ago of our OTHER dog, Nadia. He always looks extremely worried… when he’s not trying to do the nasty with Nadia. I wasn’t going to post it but then I thought it might be fun to post since it’s so ridiculously NOT what I usually do. I am now 100x more confident that I never want to be a pet portrait artist.
(Yes, that is his naughty bit. It wouldn’t be Rocky without giant balls!)
While it’s a wonderful drawing, I have to say that it’s a bit weird to see you draw something very realistic as opposed to…Jaded? Is that a good way to put it? I mean, there are no cats with crazy boobs or hidden rutabagas to be found anywhere!
Wow, he really does look worried! I agree with Anna, it’s great but it’s not very Jade-y. No crazy long tongues.

It’s been awhile since I talked to you. But your mom told me what you were doing with the Rocky portrait. Soo I thought I’d do some snooping since it’d been awhile since I seen her last and think it’s a great drawing. As are all your other “pet portraits” Haha! Miss you.
